Harmless Idiocy

A web series, strange music, comedy sketches, and other fun stuff I’ve had the privilege to be a part of (writing/performing).

(Comedy Sketch Writing Packet available upon request.)

Denim Days

Through a collaboration with the enigmatic Peach Prism, my band Johnny Carwash & the Heartland Dreamers wrote and produced the song ‘Denim Days’. It started as a joke - and I suppose it still is - but we wanted to create something that took us back to ‘80s era Springsteen or Mellencamp. Like a Friday night at the fairgrounds somewhere in the Midwest. Neon lights, cigarettes, French fries. Anyway, give it a listen.

Master Class - The Web Series

Do some lines. Make a scene. Leave some cash. Master Class is a 10-episode comedy web series that explores the world of a maniacal narcissistic acting coach and his band of desperate acolytes. I cowrote and acted in some of the episodes. Sure, the show sounds a bit dark - but I promise it’s funny. Sometimes.

Potted Passions - A plant-based noir series. (I might’ve lost my mind during COVID quarantine.)

On my TikTok page, you’ll find a few videos I made with my wife’s houseplants during the first few months of COVID. I came up with Quarantine Television (QTV), thinking it would be funny or at least entertaining for those seeking some levity in a challenging time. Looking back, I’m not sure it accomplished any of that. The thumbnail you see here is from a series called “Potted Passions,” a plant-based noir series with private investigator Jake Greenleaf. I don’t know. Maybe I should talk to someone.
